  • Business Employment Incentive Program (BEIP) »

    An economically viable expanding or relocating business that creates jobs in New Jersey can secure annual incentive grants based on the amount of employees' state income taxes withheld.

  • Urban Enterprise Zone Program (UEZ) »

    New Jersey's Urban Enterprise Zone Program (UEZ) has fostered an economic climate that has revitalized various urban communities, including the Jersey City waterfront. Mack-Cali on the Hudson is part of a UEZ that offers various economic and tax incentives to local businesses.

  • New Jersey Urban Transit Hub Tax Credit Program »

    Tax credits equal to as much as 100% of the qualified capital investments made within an eight-year period are available for developers, owners, or tenants making a qualified capital investment within a designated Urban Transit Hub.

  • Grow NJ

    Eligible businesses will receive annual tax credits between $5,000 and $8,000 for 10 years for each full-time job created or retained. To be eligible, a business must retain or create at least 100 full-time jobs in an industry the EDA deems desirable. The business also must make a capital investment of at least $20 million in a qualified incentive area.

  • Business Retention and Relocation Assistance Grant Program (BRRAG) »

    A business relocating operations within New Jersey, and retaining jobs, may be eligible for corporate business tax credits of up to $2,250 per year for up to six years per job retained, payable as a tax credit against a company's corporate tax liability.

    The Economic Redevelopment and Growth Program (ERG) was established to provide incentive grants to developers, business, and owners to capture new State and local incremental taxes derived from a project’s development to address project financing gaps.

    New Jersey offers various businesses training programs, partnerships, and other resources aimed at keeping local businesses strong.
